How A Positive Attitude Can Change The World Around You
Friday, 23 February 2007 - Daniel Alan
I am going to ask you to something very weird right now. First of all, I want you to listen to your thoughts. Now tell me, what thoughts fill your head? Would you label them as positive, or negative?
Now let's say you are walking down the street with these thoughts. Do you think anyone who would meet you would be able to tell you whats on your mind?
The answer to number one is up to you. But, the answer number two can be pretty generic. Although people will not be able to tell you exactly what you think, they will more or less have an idea of how you are feeling.
Here's another question. When you enter a party filled with friends, do they all fall silent as if something terrible had happened? Or does everybody there perk up as if waiting for something exciting to happen?
You know what? The answer to all these depends on your frame of mind.
Thoughts are very powerful. They affect your general attitude. The attitude you carry reflects on your appearance, too - unless, of course, you are a great actor.
And it doesn't end there. Your attitude can also affect people around you.
The type of attitude you carry depends on you. It can be either positive or negative.
Positive thoughts have a filling effect. They are admittedly invigorating. Plus, the people around the person carrying positive thoughts are usually energized by this type of attitude.
Negative thoughts on the other hand have a sapping effect on other people. Aside from making you look gloomy and sad, negative thoughts can turn a festive gathering into a funeral wake.
A positive attitude attracts people, while a negative attitude repels them. People tend to shy away from those who carry a negative attitude.
We can also define attitude as the way of looking at the world. If you choose to focus on the negative things in the world, more or less you have a negative attitude brewing up. However, if you choose to focus on the positive things, you are more likely carry a positive attitude.
You have much to gain from a very positive attitude. For one, studies have shown that a positive attitude promotes better health. Those with this kind of attitude also have more friends. projecting a positive attitude also helps one to handle stress and problems better than those who have a negative attitude.
A positive attitude begins with a healthy self-image. If you will love the way you are and are satisfied, confident, and self-assured, you also make others are around feel the same way.
A negative attitude, on the other hand, has, of course, an opposite effect. So, carrying a negative attitude has a twofold drawback. You feel bad about yourself, and you make others feel the same way.
If you want to have a positive attitude, you have to feature healthy thoughts. This is probably very hard to do nowadays since, all around us, the media feeds us nothing but negative thoughts. A study shows that for every 14 things a parent says to his or her child, only one is positive. This is truly a saddening thought.
If you want a healthier outlook in life, you need to think happy thoughts, and you have to hear positive things as well. So, what can you do? Well, for starters, you could see a funny movie, you could play with children, spend some time telling jokes with friends. All these activities fill you with positive stimuli, which in turn promotes positive attitude.
Although it is impossible to keep ourselves from the negative things around us, you can still carry a positive attitude by focusing on the good things, the positive things in life.
And this positive attitude you now carry can be of benefit to other people. Sometimes when other people feel down, the thing people mostly do is try to give them advice. But sometimes, all they need is somebody to sit by them, and listen to them. If you have a positive attitude you may be able to cheer them up without even having to say anything.
If positive attitude is really great, why do people choose to adopt a negative attitude instead? One who carries a negative attitude may be actually sending a signal for attention. Before you get me wrong, feeling sad, angry, or gloomy is not wrong itself. But dwelling on these thoughts for far too long is not healthy either. There is a time to mourn.
As always, if you are beset by troubles, even in your darkest hour, focus on the good things in life, you will always have hope. Problems become something you can overcome.
You do not have much to lose by adopting a healthy, positive attitude. Studies show that such an attitude actually retards aging, makes you healthier, helps you develop a better stress coping mechanism, and has a very positive effect on all the people you meet every day. So, what's not to like about a positive attitude? Adopt one today.

Cheap Car (Tata Nano) is that a solution?
Cheap car will be marketed in Indonesia next year. With price Rp. 23 million per unit, and the surprise is the car produced by India, which is developing countries same with Indonesia, but they can produce cheap cars with a good quality and meet safety standards. I have not even saw the car directly (just from the photo), but my opinion that car was good in the display. Tata Nano (the car) using the engine 33 horse power, two-cylinder 624 cc (petrol), which paired with the CVT transmission or 5-speed manual. To follow and diesel versions. Four-passenger car requires five liters of petrol for 100 km distance. Yeah i think it is enough for passenger cars with 4 people.
But, with the car is cheaper, more and more people will use private cars to travel, and indeed the other will reduce the number of motorcycles.
As more people use private cars on the road, the road is jammed. If we compare with a motorcycle that needs space about 1x2 m 2 and if the passenger car will be 2-3 times greater, may use the car will be able to reduce congestion if the vehicle 4 people move to 1 this mini-car. So, the motor is reduced and the use of private cars is not too much. But who can ensure that the 4 people who use motorcycles will move to 1 this mini car. May also be a motorcycle driver who will buy a unit of the car and change into a mini car because the price is cheap, and if this thought in mind by all the motorcycle road we will be more traffic jams and traffic jams.
What can the government do to overcome this? I think, it is very wrong if the government allows entry of cheap cars to Indonesia, because the need of transportation Indonesia at this time is the bottleneck problem, the damaged roads, road classification system that distracted and not in accordance with the regulations, road safety and public mass transportation system. Indonesian government should be more able to weigh the investment is good for our development, not home to receive. Our policy in terms of ownership of a motorcycle or private cars can support the increase in private vehicle ownership that ultimately will cause problems later in the day in our streets. Why can not we emulate Singapore which has a policy that private car ownership for citizen is difficult, so that the Singapore government not be with the number of vehicles that have travel on the road.
Therefore, the government should be involved more practitioners who independent in determining the policies that will affect the condition of Indonesia's future. We can not steadily build roads to meet the demand, because the limitation of our funds and also space to build the road is also limited.
But it's just my personal thoughts, thought there might be others that facilitate investment in the cheaper car is one of our transportation problem-solving. Let's see ..

What a Crazy World
The world is crazy..have you know Natalie Dylan?, she is 22 year old San Diego woman who already hold a B.S. in women’s studies, she plan to continue her study, but she does not have enough financial to do her study plan. she just an ordinary woman, but she have a crazy or a strange way to get financial solution for her study, she is selling her virginity online. Asked about her decision and doubters, Dylan replied, "We live in a capitalist society. Why shouldn’t I be allowed to capitalize on my virginity?". She following her sister who sold her virginity to fulfill her financial life. Natialie dylan will sell her virginity for between $1 million and $3.8 million..it’s a big money. She also insist that the auction is only for one night stand, not for a relationship.
On the heels of a recent report that the bidding for Natalie Dylan’s virginity is now at $3.7 million, Natalie chatted exclusively with Scandalist about the truth behind her sensational auction.
The bids keep going up and up, and Natalie will continue to hold out until “it all dies down.”“Why would I prematurely end something that could be so lucrative?” she asks. She must have been thinking along the same lines when she made the decision to hold out on sex until it really meant something: like $3.8 million.
How the capitalism influence our daily life into a crazy people, thought that anything in a money view, sold anything as long as someone want to pay it. What a crazy world.
So, Natalie Dylan auction and Prosistute, what the different?Posted by Beni at 10:53 PM 0 comments

Facebook or MySpace, Why Not?
I have read CNN news on January 5th, 2009, about a study that conducted to know negative issues of using MySpace or Facebook for teen life
" Study: Teens on MySpace mention sex, violence "
The study said that 54 percent of teens talk about behaviors such as sex, alcohol use, and violence on the social networking giant MySpace. As we know that we can easily expose many things in this social networking sites, we can upload any photo, showing our feelings and thoughts, and there is no limitation on that. How we know that there is no villain out there who looking for their target. Who knows? We cannot say that MySpace or Facebook is bad or good, the think is that how we use it for our good. Just like the study (Moreno) said
Just like the study recommend for the parents that they should watch carefully their teenager in their online lives. They suggest that the parents should create their own MySpace or Facebook account to know the activity of their kids. Another suggestion is that the parents also should know the password of their children account. But i think the second one is not to important and it is privacy of the children. Furthermore they will not like that, isn’t it?"It’s really not that MySpace is bad or good. I think the lesson is that it’s a tool, and how you use it determines the kinds of outcome you’re going to get "
Facebook or MySpace can be used by the parents to know and learn about their children life, hobbies, their favorite, friends, etc.
So I think, we should have a positive thing on this kind of online life. In this global world, anything can happen, so it is good to have your own social networking with the profile you have but you must playing safe on that. How do you think?
